With an emphasis on ecological and environmental impacts, we collect, maintain and distribute materials and information related to New England native plant initiatives. As a result, our group aims to serve those who work and volunteer in

• Park and conservation commissions
• Green industries, including nurseries and seed companies
Homeowners and gardening enthusiasts may benefit, as well.
Victor DeMasi, lepidopterist, research affiliate for Yale’s Peabody Museum and NRWA Advisory Board member, has been studying butterflies and moths in an area along the Norwalk River since 1977. He will introduce area butterflies and moths, discuss their food and habitats and show his remarkable collection. Easy walk.
